  We have been attending Sun City for over a year now! We have found Sun City to consistently be about Jesus, loving others and serving our community. The people of Sun City have big hearts and a desire to know God more. My kids love going to church and feel just as connected as we do.

  I've been to Sun City Church only once but felt very drawn into their plans for the church. This church recently merged with New Life Church which was in the same location. The new pastors, Danny and Jamie Schultz, are on fire - enthusiastic and devoted to this church and the people in it. Everyone was very friendly and right after the service they had a "Next Steps" meeting with a free lunch to help people explore their gifts and talents, and how they could contribute to the operation of the church. I think other churches could learn from studying the way Sun City operates. I was especially intrigued by the many "small groups" people there formed to gather birds of a feather together - with interests in a wide variety of topics and lifestyles from study of the life of Christ, to marriage, to dog obedience training, to hiking, to moms support, to motorcycle cruising, to cards, to youth night, to trail running, to "girl's taco night" and of course, my favorite topic, creative writing. There are many other small groups - check their website. Seriously, it is that creative writing small group that drew me to the church. When I saw that on their website I couldn't stay away. Anyhow, they definitely know how to involve people in the church and form groups for like-minded people to get to know one another. The sermon was inspiring but not the most Bible-oriented I've been to. Sun City's Pastor Danny is enthusiastic, however, and that is what keeps our attention. His co-pastor and wife, Pastor Jamie, gave an impassioned speech before the sermon too, to get us ready, I guess. The music was good but I didn't recognize any of the three or four songs I heard... I'm not sure if that was because they write their own, or perhaps they listen to different praise music than I usually do. Anyhow, this church was well worth the visit and I look forward to the creative writing group. By the way, you do not have to be attending the church in order to participate in the groups. All are welcome.

  Helicopter egg drops and bunnys on easter. Clearly a church thats has forgotten the meaning of easter and therfore the meaning of being a church. Quite a few families could have been feed an easter dinner for the price of the helicopter fuel alone. Find a church where God resides, this is not it.

  Sun City Church... I'm excited! From day one, this church will actively and truly LOVE PEOPLE! I can't wait to see how many lives will be touched.

  This church is full of happy, fun people! If you come to visit, you'll feel welcomed and safe. Dress is super casual.. no suits needed! Our kids LOVE the kids church and are always asking to go back. The music is energetic and happy, and the speakers talk about relevant subjects in my life through the eyes of the Bible. This is a great church!
