  Most welcoming Orthodox community in the area. The priest, Fr Andrew Welzig, is a very down to earth and knowledgeable priest who goes out of his way to make visitors feel welcome, and to answer any questions that an inquirer or curious Protestant might have. The Church community at Christ the Savior is made up of mostly converts to Orthodoxy from Roman Catholicism and Protestantism/Evangelicalism. The services are reverent, and the meal we share afterwards is full of great conversation, spiritual or otherwise, as well as great food. If you have come to the place that many of us have, where you are searching for something more than what the fractured and divided churches of the west have to offer, than please visit Christ the Savior Orthodox Christian Church, and experience Christianity as it was intended by Christ Himself. Experience the historic Christian faith;the Faith once delivered. The Church founded by the Apostles themselves. This is the fullness of the Christian faith, and within the walls of Holy Orthodoxy, you will discover a depth that is not present in any other Christian group. The Orthodox Church is evangelical, but not Protestant. It is orthodox, but not Jewish. It is catholic, but not Roman. It isn't non-denominational - it is pre-denominational.
